Bahmed XI (Sunday Stars) failed to maintain their early lead when the football team of the Correctional Institute of the Prisons Services came from behind to hold them to a 3-3 thriller at the Prisons Park, Cantonments, in Accra yesterday.
Parading big shots like Nii Odartey Lamptey, recently named Eleven Wise deputy Coach, Emmanuel Armah ‘Senegal’, Sly Tetteh of Liberty Professionals fame, Hesse Odamtey, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, CEO of Bahmed Travels and Tours among others, scored two goals in the early part of the game through Major Tom from the US Embassy and Isaac Oppong.

Nii Lamptey crowned his spectacular solo move with a third goal, but Teiko Hammond scored his personal second on the stroke of halftime.
Coach Richard Kudolo’s team threw more men into the game after recess, which paid off when Harry Cobbina connected home Teiko’s pass some few minutes after the break.

She noted that such gestures will not only unearth the talents of the inmates but will help reintegrate them into society.
